- We are software independent. While we do have a proprietary Calculation Engine that we use in our independent engagements, we have no preference regarding your ultimate integration tool. Why? Our experience has shown that the tool does not determine the success or failure of a cost-to-serve implementation. Other factors, including system auditability, availability of subsidiary data systems, source data cleansing, cost driver build and validation, system complexity, and other factors besides the tool have major impacts on the success of a Cost-to-Serve project.
- We bring additional skills above and beyond software implementation. It is not the software itself that determines success, but the way it is integrated with your existing BI and accounting systems infrastructure that matters. We have the experience to ensure a successful implementation regardless of the specific tools and software systems involved in the project.
- We are not desktop designers. On our engagements, we "walk the process" before we design. It is important to achieve buy-in and address user issues early in the process. Attempting a desktop design without this critical step will lead to less than dersirable results.
